The vision of the project is to restore God given dignity to all human beings especially
to women and children who belong to socially deprived group.
Jeolikote St. Anthony's project financed by Child Fund India(earlier known as Children
Children 's Fund), began to operate to Jeolikote in the year of 1973. Then the service
was rendered to orphan children, and the poor borders from various parts of Bareilly
Diocese. The shift from welfare approach to development approach took place in 2004.
Since then a lot of change has taken place in the sectors of health and sanitation,
basic education and economic enhancement.
The project area is spread out to 49 hamlets of Bhimtal block, Nainital Dist. Uttarakhand;
there are 2217 families with 11,183 population- male 5713 and female 5470. We collaborate
with them in the fields of :
- Early childhood care and development
- Education and health
- Economic enhancement
- Skill development of youth
- Self help group and federation
- Children's club and youth club
- Computer literacy
The project collaborates with Government Departments too.
