St. Andrew's Church and School are situated in a remote village of Pipriya in Shahjahanpur
District. The mission was started in 1972 and was regularly visited from Shahjahanpur
about 100 km. from here. As the need was felt for a resident Priest, a Church and
a Priest's house were built in 1982. In the same year, a primary school was started
to cater to the needs of the local people. Fr. Henry Almeida became the first resident
Priest of Pipriya in 1984.
