It was felt that there was a need for the presence of the Church in Khatima. At this juncture, Diocese accepted the invitation of the Polyplex group of industries in 1992 to manage and administer their new English medium school known as Saraf Public School. Now the Christian presence is strongly felt there and it has opened a way for evangelizing activities in the surrounding areas. Fr. Valerian D'Souza was the pioneer of this mission station. Carmelite Sisters of Trivendrum help in the school.
