Adrianpur-Dhamola

It was a dream of Fr. Adrian Bellini, the Italian Capuchin to start a mission station at Dhamola which lies at the foot of Kumaon Hills of Nainital District. Land was bought in view of settling the Punjabi Christian refugees. The humble beginning by Fr. Adrian in 1967 has seen the growth and development in the place. A Hindi primary school was opened in 1972 which today shines as one of the leading High Schools of the Diocese. Till 1987, Holy Cross Sisters of Amaravati province were helping in the pastoral, educational and medical activities here. Since 1988, Canossian Sisters are continuing the same. A boarding was opened in 1990 to help the Catholic boys to complete their high school.
